Restoring a previous change in v0 Git integration does not commit or push to feature branch

Hi. I seem to be stuck with the new git integration. In my feature branch, there have been a number of changes made. I don’t like the latest change (after testing), and need to restore a previous change. I clicked restore in the v0 chat, however it has not committed the restore or pushed it to the feature branch. So I now seem to be stuck. It feels like the only way to actually restore is to go back to using git CLI, chery pick the ref, and push that ref to be the new HEAD for the feature branch.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi, @rtruxler!

This seems like a bug with the git integration feature. For issues like this, it would be helpful if you could share:

  • The specific repository and branch you’re working with
  • Any error messages you’re seeing in the browser console
  • A chat URL where this is happening

The v0 team is actively working on improving the git integration, so reporting these issues helps them fix the sync problems.

Why don’t You guys propose BETA or ALFA version of your updates before production release? Each time You do productions there are tones of bugs from curtomers and what is most important You ignore their everydays work by doing that. People can’t deploy, can do other stuff if needed. That is simly can be solved as I said - DO NOT make production release - but GIVE to customers A CHOISE - to use Your beta or curren tversion. Very strange to be honest…

Thanks for the feedback, Cait :heart_hands:
