CONTACT_BLOB_READ_WRITE_TOKEN is configured as a Sensitive environment variable for Production and Preview. The actual valid token was re-entered and saved before two fresh protected Preview deployments were created.
Both the Contact IPNP and Join the Email List pathways return HTTP 500 before storage:
ENOENT: no such file or directory, mkdir '/var/task/data/contact'
The application reads process.env.CONTACT_BLOB_READ_WRITE_TOKEN and explicitly supplies it through the token option in the Vercel Blob SDK calls. The local-filesystem fallback executes only when that variable is missing or empty.
Vercel’s automated support agent reported that the variable is configured and injected, but the observed runtime behavior indicates that it is unavailable or empty inside the Preview function.
Could someone help determine why the Sensitive variable is not usable in this Preview runtime and advise what correction is required?
