Spectrum UI started from a very simple problem. Every time I worked on a new frontend project, I found myself rebuilding the same UI blocks again and again. After doing this multiple times, I thought it would make more sense to create a reusable, open-source UI block library instead of repeating the same work.
That idea turned into Spectrum UI. Right now, it’s being used by a lot of developers and has around 945 stars on GitHub. It’s also part of the Vercel OSS Program, which has been a great experience.
