SSL certs on domain without "www" prefix error

Here is how my domains are setup when I view them on my dashboard:

I thought I’d be able to view the SSL status on the domains when I set them up but when I click on “Edit” I don’t see anything about the SSL status. I assume that the SSL certs have been provisioned already since Vercel does this by default.

If I visit http://langchainpages.com I get the ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR error on the page. If I visit http://www.langchainpages.com it loads correctly. Any ideas?

The domain troubleshooting guide can help with most custom domain configuration issues. You might be able to use that guide to solve it before a human is available to help you. Then you can come back here and share the answer for bonus points.

You can also use v0 to narrow down the possibilities.

Hi there,

Thanks for letting us know that the issue is resolved now.

The issue was that I just had to wait for my domain provider to propagate the new DNS settings which was taking much longer than usual. Having said that, I’m still confused as to how to check the SSL status of the domains.

You can use OpenSSL or any third party website such as SSL Server Test (Powered by Qualys SSL Labs) to test it.
