stuck on serverHold, not resolving after ICANN email verification

Hi Vercel team,

My domain qstudio.site (registered through Vercel, Hobby plan) is on serverHold at the .site registry and does not resolve anywhere.

What I’ve confirmed:

  • DNS records and Vercel nameservers (ns1/ns2.vercel-dns.com) are correct. Querying ns1.vercel-dns.com directly returns the right A records.
    • The parent .site registry returns no delegation, and whois shows “Domain Status: serverHold”. So the domain is suspended at the registry level, not misconfigured on Vercel.
      • Root cause: the ICANN registrant email verification was never completed. I completed it today via the link in the “Verify Your Domain Contact Information” email from noreply@registrar.vercel.com, and Vercel confirmed “Email has been verified successfully.”
        • However, several hours later the serverHold is still active and the domain still does not resolve. The registry “Updated Date” is still 2026-05-12, so the verified status does not appear to have been pushed to the registry yet.
      • Could a staff member please manually push the status update to the .site registry to remove the serverHold now that the registrant email is verified? The Vercel support agent confirmed this may need manual backend intervention, but a support case is gated behind a paid plan on Hobby.
