Subject: Hobby Blob stores blocked ("Limits reached") — root cause fixed, requesting unblock
Hello,
Both of my Blob stores (theobase-blob and Archivio-Pastorale, team team_69V0fObDpg0RAOEUs3hi1DM9) are showing "Limits reached" and every read now returns 403 Forbidden.
The stores are tiny — a personal document archive of about 44 small JSON/PDF blobs, well under a megabyte of actual storage. The limit I hit was operations, not storage, and it was entirely my fault: my server cached blob reads for only 10 seconds, and it re-read two index files (auth.json, documents.json) on essentially every API request. Two days of active development on the app generated thousands of unnecessary Simple Operations.
I have already fixed the root cause in my code:
- the in-memory cache now lasts 15 minutes on my local server (single writer) and 60 seconds on Vercel (multiple instances);
- concurrent reads of the same file are coalesced into a single read instead of one per request;
- writes that would store byte-identical content are skipped entirely, so no more wasted Advanced Operations;
- only the explicit "reload" request bypasses the cache.
Expected steady-state usage after the fix is a handful of operations per day, not thousands.
Could you please unblock the stores? The data itself is intact and I am not asking for extra quota — only for access to be restored so I can read my own archive. If a paid plan is the only way, I would appreciate knowing that clearly, and also when the 30-day window on my current usage resets.
Thank you.
