Suspected Mass Report Targeted Attack // DDOS?

My Vercel account (username: tomfebry) was suddenly suspended, with an email citing a breach of the Fair Use Guidelines and/or Terms of Service.

This came as a complete surprise—I have always aimed to comply with Vercel’s policies. The suspension is severely impacting my business, as I have hundreds of active projects deployed on Vercel, many of which are critical and now inaccessible.

Key details about my usage:

  • I manage a large number of deployments personally (mostly Next.js/React static and serverless sites).

  • Projects are legitimate: personal, client, and business-related sites (no spam, phishing, malicious content, or prohibited activities).

  • No intentional violation—I’ve never received prior warnings.

Additional observations that may explain the flag:

  • I received notifications about abuse reports filed against multiple projects on my account.

  • I suspect this could be coordinated mass reporting from competitors attempting to disrupt my services.

  • Around the same time, my usage limits were exhausted extremely quickly in a short timeframe, suggesting one or more deployments may have been targeted by a DDoS attack or malicious traffic spike.

Hi, just getting back after the holidays so sorry I missed this, are you still seeing any issue here?
