Hello,
I'm experiencing a TEAM_ACCESS_REQUIRED error when deploying my Next.js project using Vercel CLI on the Hobby plan.
Environment:
- Vercel team:
info-dd40 - Project:
infoit - Plan: Hobby
- GitHub account:
haruchao - Repository:
haruchao/infoit(Private) - Deployment method: Vercel CLI
What I have verified:
- My Vercel account is connected to GitHub as
haruchao. - GitHub lists Vercel under "Authorized GitHub Apps".
- I am the verified OWNER of the Vercel Hobby team.
- The Git commit author and committer both belong to
haruchao. - The commit email matches my GitHub noreply email.
- GitHub correctly attributes the commit to my account.
- The commit SHA is identical locally, on GitHub, and in the Vercel deployment information.
The problem:
- My first Production deployment passed the authorization check and reached the build stage, but failed due to an unrelated file integrity check.
- My second Production deployment was blocked before the build started, with
TEAM_ACCESS_REQUIREDandisVerified: false. - Both deployments referenced the same commit SHA.
The GitHub account, commit author, and Vercel team owner appear to match.
My questions:
- Why would Vercel report
isVerified: falsewhen GitHub correctly recognizes the commit author? - Why would two deployments using the same commit SHA produce different authorization results?
- Is there a way to fix this while keeping my Hobby plan and Private GitHub repository?
I would prefer not to rewrite Git history or change my subscription plan.
Thank you for your help!
