Tell me by when I'll be able to toggle between Agent mode?

It’s been 2 days since the community has expressed their heavy feelings about the Agent mode. Can someone from the main team give me a timeline as to when the gpt-5 and other model selection option is getting added again? I am running on a tight deadline and will decide to switch over or wait.

Same here. v0 is unusable, we are considering ejecting. We need to know if/when agent mode will be optional
