Asked the AI dev a few questions about the pricing system. Could there be clarification on this method of token charge, is this classed as input or output? If its used for context by ai that’s classed as output right? Would this explain everybody’s balance being taken?
I really do talk to ai as if they’re my best mate, an expensive one
I feel backed into a corner with some projects here deeply built with the messaging system and curated to finally get a good working flow and stability through prompting (which is not easy to achieve most of the times) i believe basic principles of fairness come into question here. I don’t see any benefit for the user with this new pricing system; instead we have severe restrictions. Even with a constant stream of money, not you’re inevitably paying more for a stable project because of the repetitive cost of the chats token history or start a new chat and consume alot of your tokens to get it curated to a workable standard. After all the errors and debugging. You can’t win, there’s literally no upside for us. Severely restricted whilst Vercel severely enhances their gain?
Interested on peoples thoughts with this response.
