The new price is abusive

It’s practically cheaper to pay an Indian developer than to try to code something with the new pricing system. It’s gotten really expensive. I’ve built some amazing things with v0, and there are so many build bugs that cost me money to fix. To keep working in v0, I’d have to spend around $1,000 a month. It’s absolutely priceless.

Hi @erosbormida-7450, welcome to the Vercel Community!

I understand that the new pricing model is not what you expected. You can read more about our thoughts and future plans in this post by one of our product engineers.

Your usage and costs depend on which v0 model you use. For example, the large model will consume most credits, and the small model will consume the least but can handle less complex tasks. The medium model sits in the middle in terms of performance and cost efficiency.

You can choose between these models to better optimize your usage and costs.

I hope this was helpful.

I sent my views as a feedback but not sure it gets heard. I’m a private (personal) user enjoying the wonderful v0 and what it offers. It allowed me to create something that I could never have done before. I was signed up to the $20 monthly, but now in like 2 days my credits are gone. I feel you will lose a lot of customers with this new approach. I think to say the least, it would have been fair to keep those who signed up before the new approach on the old system, and let new customers decide if they want such a scheme. So could you consider at least, placing those of us that signed on before, to revert us to the old system? I’m not made of money and I’m not sure if I can stay here any longer sadly. I think you guys at vercel have made a really big error on this, and like many comments, it smells like a money grab scheme unfortunately.

We really appreciate you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. :folded_hands: We’ll make sure that this is surfaced with the v0 team.
