Hello Vercel Team,

We need to transfer an existing production Vercel project between two different owners, both using the Hobby plan.

The standard Project Transfer is blocked because the source owner is not a member of the destination workspace. The dropdown only shows "Create Team".

We found the official Claim Deployments / Transfer Request documentation and would like to confirm:

Can this mechanism transfer an existing production project between two Hobby workspaces owned by different users?

Can the receiving Hobby workspace accept the project without adding a payment method or upgrading to Pro?

Will the existing production URL, deployment history, environment variables, project settings, and Git integration be preserved?

Does the source owner need membership in the destination workspace?

Is there any other supported, no-cost method to transfer ownership while keeping the existing project and avoiding production downtime?

We wish to retain the existing project, not recreate or redeploy it.
