Transfer chat to another v0 account - transfer button not working

I'm trying to use the Transfer Projects feature in Settings > General to move projects from my personal Premium account to a team account. I can select the projects and click Confirm and Transfer, but nothing happens after that. I just get returned to the same screen, and I do not see the projects in the team account.

Can you try opening the browser console/network tab and seeing if you get any errors when this happens? That will help me dig into the logs and find out what’s going wrong for you

I’ve just tested it successfully for me, and a little green toast notification in the bottom right should appear. Remaining on the same page afterward is normal

Speculating: A chat can have a connected Vercel project and a connected Github repo, so it’s possible that transfer is failing because one or more of your chats has connected resources that it can’t either move or disconnect. If you only get the issue transferring all chats but can successfully transfer some chats, it may just be a single one that was causing the issue and if you can narrow down to that I can help debug and fix the issue

Hi, thanks for looking into this. The console shows that I need to be an owner, not just a member, of the destination project–which I didn’t realize was the case. Will address that and try again.

Thanks for following up, I will pass on the feedback to the v0 team that we need more explicit UI informing the user of their permission issues in this case
