Transfer domain between two vercel accounts

Hi

I am trying to transfer a domain from an old account to a new one. I removed the project entirely and the domain from the global Domains page.

When I try to add it on the new account’s Domain page I get the following error.

“Cannot add since it’s already in use by one of your projects (pending verification).”

I am using Porkbun as a registrar and recently removed the Vercel nameservers from there to remove all traces of connection. Is this just something that takes time?
