I initiated a “transfer in” of my domain yesterday to bring it from bizclasshosting TO Vercel (to clarify, im bringing it to Vercel as the new authority). however, I can’t seem to find anyway to manage it or view the progress of the transfer. bizclasshosting still shows my domain and lets me edit it and I can’t find anything on Vercel. I just want to confirm if the transfer has been initiated and how long it’ll take. My domain was purchased over 3 years ago so there should be no issues there, and I unlocked it before the transfer.

Your situation sounds the same as another one I saw recently:
It can take up to a week for the domain transfer to be approved by the TLD registry. But I’m happy to check on the current transfer status if you’ve already been waiting without any updates
Hi Amy. I appreciate your response. Yes if you could please double check the transfer status I’d love that. I just spoke with Spectrum Business about the domain and they said they don’t see any transfer requests as those don’t show up for them. They said something like, “yeah if you submitted a transfer request then just wait a few days and it’ll go through,” but I can’t rely on that because I can’t see any confirmation on either side to know if it is even in process haha.

Thanks for letting me know the domain you’re trying to transfer. It looks like you previously added the domain to your project and then removed it a couple of days ago. But I do not see any record of a transfer starting for that domain.

Hello. Yes I had made a mistake and deleted it, then transferred it in fresh and was charged the amount (around $11)
Also when I tried to transfer it again yesterday, it didn’t let me. And today, I tried once more to transfer in, and it again didn’t let me. It would immediately refund me.
When it wouldn’t let you, what was the error message?
The TLD is on the supported domains list, so that shouldn’t be the problem. Did you originally purchase the domain less than 60 days ago? ICANN has a required waiting period, so that could be why you’re unable to transfer-in your domain
Sadly it didn’t give me any errors each time. Just said it was unable to. Also I purchased the domain over three years ago.
This is all it says each time. The first time worked, but everytime I tried after that, it fails like this. (I attached a photo)
It’s been about a week now and I still haven’t got any updates on this transfer.
Thanks for sharing the error message. Note that you don’t need to transfer the domain to use it with your Vercel project. It looks like you already connected your domain without transferring, which is the workaround I would have suggested.
