You created a second Vercel account when you signed in to v0 with another email. You can still sign in to your old account using the "continue with email" option instead of signing in with your GitHub account

i no longer have access to the old email i used. is there a way to change the email? its because it was a university email

This issue is common when a GitHub account is accidentally linked to a new Vercel account. To resolve this and restore your old account, follow these steps:

Disconnect your GitHub account from the new account:

Log in to the new account you recently created.

Go to Account Settings, then Settings or Billing/Tokens (depending on the interface), and unlink or remove the currently linked GitHub account.

Log out of the new account completely.

Log in to your old account via GitHub:

On the Vercel login page, click the Continue with GitHub button.

Since your old account was linked to your original GitHub account, the system will recognize it immediately and restore you to your old account and previous projects, regardless of the old email address (as long as you are logged in with the same primary GitHub account you initially used to create the projects). Opening support tickets (if necessary):

If the problem persists, you can contact Vercel support by creating a new support ticket from your alternate account or by sending a message to the support team to update the email address for your old account after verifying your ownership of the GitHub repositories.

@dirkbo41-9658 @shadabd2016-3277 If you unlinked a social account, you can still log in with email instead. Just use the primary email address from the old account. All of your projects will still exist on their original team.

If you don't have access to the old email, you need the support team to verify account ownership to help you regain access. If you have a case number, I would happy to check on it for you

@amyegan it's been almost 10 - 15 days and till now i have not received any response from the account recovery team ...

I was able to find your cases and confirm that they are assigned to the right team. Unfortunately, I’m not part of the support team and have limited access to the systems they use, so I can’t solve this myself. But I can flag it with for team.

Thats been almost 15 days and not able to make deployment and you know that its live project with over 60 k products

Your account recovery request should have a case number (something like 01234567). I need the number to find your case

i just requested again, turns out i used the original email which i do not have access to for the request. anyway heres the case number: 01535667. thanks!

Using an inaccessible email explains why you weren't able to see updates from the team! I let the support team know that your new case is related to your old one.
