Hi everyone,
I’m hoping someone from the Vercel team can help me with an account recovery issue.
I’ve had my original Vercel account, stvee4637's projects, for several years. It’s a Pro account and has 30+ production projects and domains connected to it.
I originally created the Vercel account through GitHub using my GitHub account stvee4637, and I’ve always signed into Vercel using GitHub. My GitHub account itself was set up using my personal Gmail address.
More recently, I created a separate Vercel account for a personal project using Sign up with Google. I used that same personal Gmail address, which created the new free account stevenmetry-3494.
I didn’t think anything of this at the time, as the two Vercel accounts were created several years apart.
The issue is that when I now try to log into my original account using Continue with GitHub, with the same GitHub account I’ve always used, Vercel signs me into the newer stevenmetry-3494 free account instead.
Because the GitHub account and the Google sign-in both use the same personal email address, I’m wondering if the two logins have somehow become associated with the newer account.
Because of this, I currently have no way of accessing my original Pro account.
I’ve already submitted an account recovery request and have been waiting for a response. My case number is 01390996.
I’m mainly hoping someone from Vercel can check that my recovery request has reached the right team and advise me on what I should do next.
Thanks for your help.
