I am trying to downgrade a project to hobby but no button is showing. All it says is to “upgrade to pro”. We were considering moving to pro in the future but not yet and now since it’s so hard to move off of a trial to hobby (which should be automatic), idk if we’ll be able to even upgrade to pro in the future.
I have checked every tab, asked vercel AI support, etc and so far, nothing is helping. I am not sure if maybe i am just missing a glaring button but if someone can help, it would be appreciated
You can click the “downgrade” button on your team’s billing settings page to end your trial and go back to the Hobby plan. Otherwise, your account reverts to a Hobby plan automatically if you haven’t added a payment method when the trial expires.
That’s what I was told by others but there is no downgrade button on the projects or personal billing pages. And instead of automatically downgrading me, it just suspended everything even though no credit card or anything was added. When I went to delete the project, it said I had a “outstanding invoice” however, the only invoice was the trial and it was marked as “paid”. And as a reminder again, we did not add any payment details or go over the hobby plan’s allowed resources even with pro
We eventually made a new account, setup the project directly on hobby so we wouldn’t have the trial
