Like many of hr, I’m responsible for hiring in my department, which means going through a ton of technical resumes. I found myself spending countless hours trying to prepare meaningful interviews that could accurately assess a candidate’s real skills.
Seeing the potential of new AI tools, I decided to build a little app for myself to see if I could streamline the process. I build with v0, v0 is very cool, I just spent a hour build it. The result is a simple tool I call “Unicorn Hunter.” You paste in a resume and a JD, and it generates a deep-dive interview plan, complete with a risk analysis and tough follow-up questions.
I’ve been using this in my own work for a little while now, and it has genuinely been a game-changer. My efficiency has gone way up, and I feel the quality and consistency of our interviews have improved significantly.
Since it helped me so much, I decided to clean it up and share it with the community. I’m hoping it can be useful to others in the same boat. It’s completely free, and there’s no signup required.
