Updates to the Vercel Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

We’re updating our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy to reflect some of the new agentic features we’re building to help you manage your apps. These changes help us improve the platform and contribute to the AI ecosystem while keeping your data safe.

What’s changing?

  • Agentic infrastructure: We’re working on capabilities to proactively investigate incidents, suggest performance improvements, and even create PRs to help you optimize your usage.
  • Optional AI model training: You can now choose whether to allow Vercel to use your code and agent chats to improve our models. This helps us build better tools for the whole community.
  • Privacy and redaction: We take security seriously. All personal information, account details, environment variables, and API keys are anonymized and redacted before any data is used.

Defaults by plan

  • Hobby: Opted in by default, with a self-serve opt-out in settings.
  • Pro: Opted out by default, with a self-serve opt-in available.
  • Enterprise: Opted out by default.

You can update your preferences at any time in Team Settings → Data Preferences.

How do you feel about these new agentic capabilities? We’d love to hear your thoughts below! :backhand_index_pointing_down:

Your terms update popup is broken. It doesn’t submit and just hangs on the page making it impossible to actually access the app.

Hi @sdmcculloch101-1958, welcome to the Vercel Community!

So sorry for that could you share a screenshot? I’ll try and fix that.
