URGENT: Domain stuck on "Linked to another Vercel account"

Hello,
I’m trying to add my custom domain eltravel.az and www.eltravel.az to my project el-travel on my new Vercel account. However, I get the error:

This domain is linked to another Vercel account.
I also own the old account where the domain was previously linked. I have already logged into that account and removed the domain from the project and from the account completely.
I have verified that all DNS records (A record 216.198.79.1 and TXT verification record) are set up correctly, and DNS has propagated.
Despite this, I still can’t verify or link the domain on my new account.
Could you please help manually release the domain eltravel.az and www.eltravel.az so I can use them on my new account?

When I check your DNS, it looks like

• your root domain is hosted at a third party registrar and correctly verified
• your www domain has no verification TXT record though

We have made some changes here recently so I might not be 100% up to date – does Vercel tell you to set that CNAME without a TXT record?

You are correct about the root domain, it is working.

For the www.eltravel.az domain, Vercel did ask me to set up a TXT verification record, and I have already added it in my cPanel. The record is:

• Name: _vercel.www.eltravel.az
• Type: TXT
• Value: vc-domain-verify=www.eltravel.az.9ad44cf69128b9517dbe

Maybe it’s a DNS propagation delay on your end? I have checked it on a public tool (dnschecker.org) and it seems to be propagating correctly across the world. I am attaching a screenshot of the result.

Could you please try checking for the _vercel.www.eltravel.az TXT record again? Thank you!

Ah I do see the record if I search for _vercel.www.eltravel.az, but it needs to be on _vercel.eltravel.az

You should have two TXT records on _vercel.eltravel.az and the value will mention whether they’re for the root domain or for www. Once you’ve successfully verified each one you can delete it

Thank you for the clarification.

I have now made the change as you suggested. I deleted the old _vercel.www TXT record, and I have added a new TXT record for the www verification directly onto the _vercel.eltravel.az hostname.

There are now two different TXT records on the _vercel.eltravel.az name.
