V0 app message box issue (simple)

When I add an image to the message box and then write a message that eventually extends down past 5 lines I’m unable to scroll on the message so I can’t see what I’m typing.

This issue only exists when an image has been uploaded and ready to send with the message.

The (hopefully) simple fix is to make sure uploaded images don’t affect the message up/down scroll-ability.

:+1:

Oh also, the v0 app has been pretty laggy and I assume it’s because of so many new users which is great, but just wanted to point that out. Lag can make people frustrated and therefore inconsistent (less tokens used).

Hmmm…. I just tried to replicate the scroll issue you mention when you upload an image. I was not able to reproduce at all. I added an image like you said and wrote 20 lines of text to make sure I tried to really max out the issue, and it scrolled just fine. Im not sure what you may be running into. Is there anything else when doing this? Or literally just putting an image in and typing?

As for the lag in v0 you are experiencing, again I have no had this issue and no lag whatsoever. Maybe it was the file you were working in? Or network issues? Idk honestly. But so far no lag that I have experienced. Will keep track though.

Hey Sean,

I should’ve responded earlier, but thank you for your reply.

I still can’t scroll on the message box (see image attached).

Maybe the lag is because of the big project.

Hej,

No worries at all

So fist off, I totally misunderstood you or misread. I thought you were meaning in the web and not the mobile app. I have not tried to replicate that issue on mobile. I can try tomorrow. But if it’s still not working for you then clearly it’s a thing. Hopefully the team will see this tomorrow as well and fill in.

as for the lag, it seems that large files/chats are typically the cause. Not always, but it can be. Worth investigating and trying out some solutions to troubleshoot that.

It’s funny you say that because I was considering specifying it was on the mobile app instead of suggesting since many people use “app” for websites.

All good. The current workaround and just click to make the message extend over the whole page and then I can see it all.
