V0: cannot attach files or screenshots in v0 chat

Hello! I am unable to attach files or screenshots in the v0 chat. I see the error “Failed to upload file…”, but the first 10-15 attachments worked fine. Can you please fix this? I cannot complete my project without it.

I have tried everything, but the problem remains:

  • All my files are smaller than 20 MB.
  • I refreshed the v0 page several times using the Command-Shift-R keys.
  • I am using supported file formats (SVG, JSON, SVG, MD, VUE).
  • The problem occurs in three different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Comet).

I would appreciate any help or advice.

Do you consistently see this? Could you start new chats and attach images?

Hi Pauline P. Narvas!
If I have a problem in one chat, I also cannot upload files in a new chat with the same account. But I can upload a file to another v0 account. So it has to do with the account settings. Yes, I face this problem about every 20-30 files. After that, I have to wait about 15 minutes before I can upload files again.

Are you certain a .vue file even be uploaded though? Maybe its not an accepted file type?

As for the .md file, have you tried addign it to the “rules” instead or uploading it there?
