v0 "Chat is Private" and "Failed to submit message" errors in personal workspace

Hi,

I am experiencing a persistent issue with my v0.dev account where I am locked out of both existing and new chats. Despite being logged into my Personal workspace, I am encountering the following errors:

Problem

  • Creating New Chats: Displays a lock screen with the message:

Error: Chat is Private
“Ask the owner to update this chat’s sharing permissions,”
This happens even though I am the owner. It occurs for all new chats I try to create; I get locked out as soon as the generation finishes.

  • Old Existing Chats: I can view old chats, but attempting to send a message results in:

Error: Failed to submit message. Start a new chat, retry, or edit your message.

Steps I’ve already taken to troubleshoot

  1. Logged out and back in multiple times.
  2. Cleared browser cache and cookies for v0.dev and vercel.com.
  3. Tested on multiple browsers (Chrome and Brave) and Incognito mode.
  4. Verified I am in the correct “Personal” workspace.

Account Details

  • Workspace: Personal
  • Status: Free Tier

I’ve looked through similar cases on the community forum but still couldn’t find a solution. This is preventing me from accessing my current development projects. Could someone from the engineering team please check if my account session or permissions need to be manually re-synced?

Thank you.

Hey, @razany! Welcome to the Vercel Community :waving_hand:

Could you check if you can access your chats from the Archived Chats section?
