v0 chats automatically turning private and account switching issues

All my v0 chats are automatically turning private, and I’m unable to edit them. Additionally, it keeps auto-switching between my company account and personal account.

What do you mean they’re turning private? Did you change the settings?

How is it doing this?

I’m not sure what’s happening. I’ve attached a screenshot below for reference. Even though all the chats were created by me, they are showing as “Chat is Private.” Also, whenever I open any of the created chats, the page keeps refreshing and displays the message “Chat is Private.”

In the first screenshot i am not even seeing the chats i created

And few of our other collogues are facing the same issue in our org

Hey! To help debug your v0 project, could you share your v0 chat link?
It looks like https://v0.app/chat/... — you can copy it from your browser’s address bar while in the chat.

You’ll also need to unlist the chat so our team can view it — here’s how: Sharing | v0 Docs

This helps the team reproduce what you’re seeing much faster. Thanks!

Hello!

Facing the same issue here. I have a Team plan and all my chats were created within that team workspace. However, every time I open any of my chats, v0 automatically switches me from the Team workspace to the Personal workspace (which belongs to the team owner).

This happens consistently on every single chat, not just specific ones. Once it switches to Personal, I also start getting 502 errors with the code SANDBOX_NOT_LISTENING, which I believe is caused by the workspace context changing and losing access to Team plan resources.

To reproduce:

  1. Select the Team workspace from the workspace switcher
  2. Open any existing chat
  3. The workspace switcher reverts to Personal on its own
  4. The sandbox fails with a 502 SANDBOX_NOT_LISTENING error

This is blocking all of my work since I cannot use any of my chats without the sandbox breaking. Would appreciate any help or a fix from the team.

Title: Blocked from deploying on Vercel + critical issues with V0 (credit loss and inability to progress)

Description:

I’m currently facing a critical situation with V0 and urgently need help. My project is close to launch, and I am completely blocked.

Main issues:

  1. Constant deployment errors (Vercel):
Every time I attempt to deploy, new errors appear. Even after multiple attempts to fix them using V0, the issues either persist or new ones are introduced.

  2. Ineffective fixes from V0:
When I ask V0 to correct the errors, it fails to resolve them properly. In many cases:

    • It suggests changes that do not fix the issue

    • It enters a loop of repeated fixes with no real progress

    • It ignores critical parts of the error logs

  3. Project duplication loop:
The system frequently suggests duplicating the project as a solution, but:

    • Duplication often fails

    • When it works, the duplicated project still contains the same errors

    • It does not address the root cause and only increases rework

  4. Credit loss without results:
I have spent over $200 trying to resolve these issues through V0, with no success.
Credits continue to be consumed without meaningful progress.

  5. History and navigation issues:

    • My chats sometimes disappear or appear inconsistently

    • At times, I cannot access my history properly

    • This makes it difficult to track what has already been tried or fixed

  6. Inability to move forward:
    In the current state:

    • I cannot stabilize the build

    • I cannot complete a successful deployment

    • I cannot continue development

Impact:

I have an imminent launch, and this situation is putting the entire project at risk.
If I cannot resolve these issues and deploy the application, it will directly impact my job.

What I need:

  • A reliable way to diagnose and fix build/deployment errors

  • Clear guidance to break out of this failure loop

  • A viable alternative to V0 to continue development (if necessary)

  • Clarification on the current behavior of the tool (especially the apparent regression in auto-fix capabilities)

Conclusion:

Previously, V0 was able to help resolve errors up to a successful deployment. Currently, this is not happening, and the workflow is leading to cost without resolution.

If anyone has faced this situation before or can suggest a more reliable approach (or even a different stack/tool to move forward quickly), I would greatly appreciate the help.

Está terrivel a experiencia com o v0 o

meu está com os mesmos problemas e quando faço o deploy tudo

para de funcionar preciso lançar um projeto que tem data e não consigo trabalhar. POsso prerder meu emprego.

The same issue has been happening to me for 24 hours. Chat has become unresponsive or suddenly become private, and when I refresh, it switches me from my team account to my personal account, making chat private and preventing me from making any changes. While all credit is burning.

I literally HAVE THE EXACT same issue, and now it’s blocking me, every day v0 is exploring a way to destroy user day, every dam day, the staff meet and say, " You know what, let’s do something to destroy their day.

Same problem. When it automatically switches me to personal, it says "Chat is Private." When I switch back to Team, it says “This chat is read-only.” And even when I try to duplicate, it says “You are not authorized to perform this action.” It’s a complete joke. Any credit used will not even be refunded. They keep giving you issues like this, and when you ask for a refund to compensate for the credit wasted or used when it keeps failing, they will reject it and claim you are not eligible for a refund, etc.

Not even care to contact support as they will never response to any message, I need a good alternative asap and who will not keep failing like this.

Do this was resolved for you @prprasad-5398 for us its seem they dont even care anymore.

The OP posted the error in February and there was no resolution mentioned. I have checked v0 again this morning and the issue persists!

@pawlean did you manage to find any solutions?

@anshumanb only if he want can help us but he seem not available

It eventually got resolved after multiple follow-ups, but the issue isn’t addressed immediately—it takes several days, and you remain blocked in the meantime. If you had a more refined or detailed prompt tied to that work, you can pretty much forget about recovering it.

Solution summary

To resolve this, manually re-select the correct Team workspace from the workspace switcher if the UI reverts to Personal. If the automatic switching persists, clear browser cookies and cache or use an incognito window to reset the session context. For persistent issues, users should provide the specific v0 chat URL to Vercel support to investigate platform-level workspace desync.

None of those solutions are working!

@community-backoffice This makes no sense, as it affects the entire V0 team workspace, including all team chats, not just one. There is no point in sharing a single URL. You can check any chat on the account, and it should be enough. Still, I don’t have any hope of a reply from Vercel support, as they are known not to care about any issues. I am fully unable to work now.

That was an automation when we click “solution” - apologises!

Do you folks still see this when you start a new chat? We’ve changed the architecture a lot since so I wonder if this helps.

With account-level issues, it is better to contact support at Help.

Any chat examples would be helpful!

Support has been unresponsive, and again its NOT a SINGLE CHAT issue, its ALL CHATS problem affecting the team account. So its likely SOMETHING else and Support dont care about that.

Can you share a chat URL? It’ll help my team investigate faster
