v0 editor fails to load updated files and hangs on "Preparing file changes"

Problem

The v0 editor is not displaying code changes correctly and fails to load updated files from the chat interface.

Current Behavior

  • The code explorer no longer shows indicators for added or removed lines (the +/- count).
  • Clicking on the “Updated files” section in the chat does not load the file in the editor.
  • A message appears at the bottom-right corner and hangs indefinitely:

There is currently no way to see which files were changed or inspect the specific lines added or removed.

Environment

  • Browsers: Chrome and Firefox (tested in normal and private modes).
  • Troubleshooting steps taken: Cleared data and cache in Chrome.

The editor eventually has become non-useful - please fix this issue ASAP. we are paying customers and this is not letting us complete our work.
