V0 extremely poor, and the issue still hasn't been resolved

Requests have been pending for so long that a page doesn’t even load after two minutes. How are we supposed to use it like this? This problem has been occurring intermittently for a week now, and the v0 team still hasn’t found a solution? The service is unusable, but my subscription is still being automatically charged! I hope the team can provide a reasonable explanation—this issue has affected my work for far too long, and I’m running out of patience!

I am curious as to what other variables are at play here in makign this happen. I only say / ask this because I have in all honesty not had or experienced these “lag” issues that so many others have (thankful of course, but still concerned its a thing).

All requests, prompts, etc have had no issues and run fine and very fast to be honest. I have even had 3 instances (projects) running at the same time in differetn tabs to multi task on projects and all is smooth as ever.

Are your requests rather “large”? I am wondering if maybe that could be a cause, although I understand it shouldnt be causing such extreme cases you are experiencing.

Asking the obvious but have you tried hard refresh, clearing caches, etc etc? If your subscription is being auto charged, can you just turn the auto recharge off?

I wish I could help more, but as I have not experienced the same (yet…?), I dont have any quick fix for you. I am certain the team will help you out in some way. I am going to follow this to stay up to date with any reasons why this is happening or fixes in case I fall into this area as others are.

Hoping its sorted soon.

I used to be a heavy user of v0 and have saved many projects on the platform. My experience had been pretty good in the past. These issues started occurring about a week ago, right after the upgrade to OPus 4.5. I have always used Chrome’s incognito mode, so there’s definitely no caching involved. Although I’ve been subscribing for $20 per month for the past few months, my actual usage has gone beyond that, usually requiring extra top-ups, averaging about $100 per month. But what’s happened recently has been very frustrating for me. What’s even more concerning is that it seems the v0 team may not even be aware of where the issue is coming from.

Hmm interesting that it started with Opus 4.5.

I actually am not using Opus 4.5 as I have personally felt it lacks compared to the default v0 agent (I know thats controversial for MANY to read haha). Plus I felt the " cost/prompt was way higher when I had Opus 4.5 selected. So maybe since I only used it for a short time, that is why I am not experiencing these things. Makes me wonder if others with similar issues as yours are also running Opus 4.5…?

As for having to top up, I can understand that, but I also think v0s ways of allowing this is rather good compared to others. Are you topping up straight away to 100USD? I might be mistaken but I think top up credits are saved (rollover) til end of year…right ?
But again, in general v0 is rather chill about this type of thing in my opinion. I mean Lovable only allows you to move up to the next full price plan (but they say that is offset by them allowing all your unused credits per month to rollover). Although I just saw on their Discord last night they are beta testing with some users the “top up” method like v0. So I am curious if they will just do an exact copy of it (cough cough like they did with Themes aka Design Systems :winking_face_with_tongue: ) or something else.

It would be nice to know or get a hint if the v0 team knows about this issue you and others are facing and if they have a hint as to the “why” behind it. is it Opus 4.5 related? I of course dont know, but I know I am not using it and I am also not facing these issues. Maybe try a bit without it and see how it goes.

What I want to express is that I have been using v0 consistently, and the fact that I spend a considerable amount of money on it each month shows that I have high expectations for the product. However, after v0 updated to a new version, the user experience has deteriorated significantly and even reached the point of being unusable. This process has been extremely disappointing for me. Although I am paying for the service, I can no longer use v0 as smoothly as I used to, which makes me very frustrated. The reason I specifically mentioned OPus 4.5 is that I noticed the overall quality of v0’s service sharply declined after this update. Regardless of whether the AI is working properly or not, it’s already unacceptable that I can’t even open the v0 pages.

oh yeah I totally understand what you mean and where you are coming from. I of course have high expectations for the product regardless of the amount spent or not. I think most people have high expectations for all AI coding / vibe coding tools out there who are top tier. So I get what you mean and share those expectations of course.

I am wondering if the new update they have teased a bit on Twitter will help resolve some of the issues you and others are facing. I am again curious if the addition of Opus 4.5 did something. I mean again, personally I have not had any issues at all close to what you are having it seems. But I am also not using Opus 4.5 as it wasnt doing much for me compared to the default v0 agent. So maybe its “use” is causing some sort of issue? Or do you mean service as in like support service declining?

And yes I agree its not good at all that you cant open any pages. I again have zero experience with this as all my pages in projects, etc are opening and working just fine, even when I have multiple open at once. Maybe they are not as “massive” as your possibly, but I would not say they are “light” or anything as they are rather complex in what I am doing with them. So again, I dont know, but really wish I knew and wish I could do more.

Really hoping thge v0 team can help or chime in and move your ticket up more. I really want to know as well now.

Even though I am not experiencing the issues (yet), I do feel VERY invested now to learn more haha.

Last thing I am curious about, and maybe it will help the v0 team to get to the bottom of this….. what things have you done / tried to self trouble shoot this? Like what have you done to see if something was the “underlying” cause? I am just curious myself tbh to learn more.
