I have an active paid v0 subscription, but the native Figma import is consistently failing with the error:
“Error loading Figma content”
My Figma account is connected to v0, and the file is shared as “Anyone with the link can view.” I am using direct links to selected Figma frames.
The issue is not caused by importing a huge design file or an overly complex screen. The individual screens/frames I am trying to import are small and relatively simple, but they fail as well.
This blocks a core workflow that I am paying for: importing Figma designs into v0.
Could you please investigate whether this is:
an account or integration permission issue
a Figma API or parsing issue
a current platform issue on v0’s side
or a specific limitation that is not communicated in the product
Please check the import logs for my account and let me know what is failing and how this can be resolved.
I’d separate three cases before assuming it’s your subscription:
v0 cannot access Figma at all
v0 can access Figma, but cannot parse that specific file/frame
the import service is failing account/platform-side
A useful isolation test would be:
Create a brand-new Figma file
Add one simple frame with just a rectangle and text
Share it as “Anyone with the link can view”
Copy the link to the selected frame/node, not a prototype/presentation link
Attach it through v0’s Figma/attachment flow, not only as plain text in the prompt
If that minimal file imports, the account connection is probably okay and something in the original file is tripping the parser: private team-library components, variables/tokens, fonts, hidden large layers, embedded assets, or a specific unsupported node. In that case I’d duplicate only the failing frame into a clean new Figma file and try importing that.
If the minimal one-frame file also returns Error loading Figma content, then it is more likely a connected Figma integration issue or a v0 import-service/account state issue. I’d disconnect/reconnect Figma once, try an incognito window, and capture the exact timestamp plus any browser console/network status code from the failed import.
The useful public details to share are whether the brand-new minimal frame fails too, whether you used the Figma attachment flow, browser name, timestamp, and any redacted console status code. I would not post private Figma file links, tokens, or account details in the thread.
