v0 GitHub error claiming repository deleted or renamed and missing PR options

I keep getting this error:

“The repository xxx/yyy was deleted or renamed.”

That’s clearly false.

  1. It then starts prompting me to reconnect to GitHub, so I click the button, and it looks like something is happening, but then the modal disappears. I repeat this ad nauseam.
  2. Then randomly the message about the repository being deleted/renamed disappears and it lets me prompt again. So I try prompting and it does its thing, burns through credits.
  3. But then it acts like I have no changes to push to production, so the option to make a PR is not there.

I have tried this on multiple browsers, reset my computer, etc. It’s simply not on my end. What is going on?

I am getting an error that my project was deleted or renamed and that I must start a new chat:

Error: The repository [projectName] was deleted or renamed.

However, I’ve made no such change. I can’t start a new chat thread as that project is still in GitHub and its chat exists in v0.

Any help is appreciated.

its happing rigth now

i wold this a lot of days ago and recieve the same reply from vo staff: “please, give me you chat url and put public”, “check your git repository”, blablabla… they dont help.. just says over and over again words without sense… im very mad with v0, because this is a v0 problem, with the API between v0 and github… and they dont solve it.. just repeat over and over again the “not so very smart” questions and “solutions”….

this is a v0 problem… and they doesnt solve it… the staff only repeat “not very smart” instructions… and they cant see that this is a API issue between v0 and git

I’m having the same problem. I notice that a lot of UI changes were happening in v0 yesterday. I wonder if it has anything to do with it, not that it in any way excuses this level of incompetence.

@pawlean I trust those of us who lost a day or more of productivity due to this problem will receive our daily credits retroactively since we were unable to use them in time?

It got resolved yesterday and then showed up again today.

I have few different project and getting this message in all of them on and off for last few days. last time I came back after few hours and things were working again, while working on some change it popped up again, can’t do any work and have no idea when it will resolve. Please address.

Yep. I only fixed the problem by disconnecting GitHub and reconnecting, and thought that was that. But now it’s back again.

I’m having problems with GitHub and I want to use v0 to visualize and deploy, I’ve already disconnected from the git account, but the chat fica is preso and it only allows me to interact when I link to git again, I want to do the previous way

My issue is also like this

All of my v0 deployments have disappeared. When I check the version history in my chat, all versions are showing as the same rather than displaying distinct versions. I need help recovering my deployments and understanding why the version history is not displaying correctly. Only my Chat history is right, but all Versions → of deployments are the Same my complete code is gone only the Chat history is the right.
Im also unable to connect to Github this Project

Just when I thought they couldn’t get any dumber… they do. Now I can’t even restore earlier versions because of some authentication bug that even deleting and reinstalling Vercel from GitHub won’t fix. And still no explanation from Vercel.

Hi, i am having the same issue, worked fine 3 days ago and now when entering the chat i am getting this weird message telling me that it got deleted or renamed but i didnt touch it at all. how to fix? https://v0.app/marnix-3108/chat/deployed-vork-2-8uXyE8KYp8h

Maybe its just lucky, but the problem in my chat on my phone seems to be fixed for now. Didnt check on laptop yet. :+1:
