v0 GitHub integration fails to show linked accounts or allow disconnection

Problem

Nothing I try allows me to link my project to GitHub - it fails regardless of the method used.

Current Behavior

  • v0 is already connected to a Git account.
  • I selected and connected another account, but it does not appear in the dropdown menu.
  • There is no way to disconnect an existing connected Git account, which prevents creating a new repository.

Context

I cannot rely on not using Git because v0 keeps deleting project files.

I’m sorry you’re seeing this, Alex!

Can you share a link to the chat you were on?

I’ll make sure this is flagged to the team.

It’s the one that’s in the linked issue

In my case, I created the project in v0, and then I asked it to create the repo on GitHub. Some time later, it disconnected from the project and no longer appears connected in the GitHub tab, and it also doesn’t show the option for me to select a project to connect.

Any update on this?

I managed to get it to work by removing my github account and adding it back, however I briefly had the issue again last night whilst trying to connect a new project to a github.

I tried it a second time through a different screen and it worked.

It’s been 5 days since it was raised and I see there’s a lot more threads all raising issues with github, is there anything you can communicate about it?
