v0 “go to code” option missing in design mode after duplicating a chat

Problem

I duplicated a chat and ended up in a new preview environment, but now I can’t find the option to view the code for specific elements.

Current Behavior

  1. Duplicated a chat in v0.
  2. Entered design mode.
  3. The go to code option (previously available in the old preview) is missing for the selected element.

It’s probably there somewhere, I just couldn’t find it.

Being able to jump from the design inspector straight to the code is super useful for iterating quickly.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

So, after a forced chat duplication to a new editor, that tries to act cool and look nice but is not better than the old one, just faster, I get missing features and no answer…

Go to code is currently not available in the updated v0. The team is aware of this and its importance to many users. Hopefully it will be back in later updates.

Thanks, Sean. I appreciate the honest answer.

‘Go to code’ isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the entire reason I use design mode: to jump from visual selection to the exact line of code.

Without it, the new v0 preview is just a slower screenshot viewer (for those who deal directly with WYSIWYG code. I recognize it has some neat features on it)

Can you please confirm if there is any workaround (keyboard shortcut, URL param, devtools trick)?

Thanks for your help on this one.
