I’m running into some significant and frustrating issues with v0 and am hoping someone in the community might have some insights, as I’ve found official support to be non-existent.
I’ve been using v0 quite a bit for various projects, and while I’ve seen its potential with some amazing initial results, I’m consistently hitting a wall. On multiple occasions, a project that starts out great will suddenly stop working correctly, costing me a significant amount of time and money in credits.
My latest and most persistent problem is that v0 is completely ignoring my CSS and UI instructions. I’ll provide detailed prompts for styling, and the tool will claim to have implemented the changes, but the result is just a basic wireframe design, with none of the requested updates.
As I explain in the video, I’ve tried starting new chats and even new projects, and the issue persists. It’s incredibly frustrating to see the tool acknowledge the instructions, say it has made the changes, and then produce a result that is a step backward.
I’ve also been really disappointed with the lack of any support from the v0 team. I submitted a ticket weeks ago with video evidence of these issues and haven’t received any response. It’s difficult to justify continuing to spend money on credits when the tool is this buggy and there’s no avenue for help.
Has anyone else been experiencing similar problems with v0 ignoring styling instructions or just generally being unreliable? Are there any workarounds or fixes that you’ve found?
Any help or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Doing some more troubleshooting, I went back to my very first V zero chat which is a one-page modual.
I gave it definitive prompts and code to implement and as you can see in the screenshot it says it implementing everything, even says it was updating all of the relevant files. You can see that what it says it did is definitely not on the screen.
This single page styling update prompt took almost 8 minutes and charged me over 50 cents (I also have the video recording for this).
This happens to every single chat I give text prompts to regarding styling. The only way to produce different results is to upload a screenshot. When I upload a screenshot, it will take some of the styling elements, but it will ignore my text prompt.
On a second note, have you guys found a way to actually, chat with helpful support from v0?
I’ve spent a couple hundred dollars, which most of it was wasted because of v0 bugs, and they won’t respond to me. I’ll be filing a complaint next.
