I just started using v0 but Im unsure how projects work or what the point of them is. How can I copy an existing v0 chat/app codebase into a project? Or do I have to start from scratch in a project?

Projects in v0 do two things: they organize your v0 chats together and they link directly to a Vercel project for deployments (also environment variables).
If you are starting fresh, you can upload an existing codebase using the Upload a project button when starting a chat.
If you already have a v0 chat, you can add a project to it from the top left Project selector:
You can also create a new project from Projects > New project

Hi , some v0 features are under A/B testing so not all users see them as we gradually role out the feature ensuring it is well tested.
