I’m experiencing a critical issue with V0 where I cannot publish my changes to Vercel. The “Publish” button remains disabled even though everything else appears to be working correctly.
Background
I’ve been working with V0 successfully for approximately 2 weeks, working almost daily with no issues at all. This problem started suddenly around Thursday or Friday of last week.
Current Symptoms
-
The “Publish” button is permanently grayed out/disabled
-
Vercel doesn’t detect any changes in my project
-
Changes are not appearing in my GitHub repository
-
The “Unlink Vercel project” option is also grayed out with the message: “To disconnect from this project, duplicate into a new project instead”
What IS Working
-
Changes save correctly (both with Cmd+S and File→Save)
-
The preview updates and reflects all changes properly
-
V0 generates new code successfully when I request it
-
The built-in Code editor (VSCode tab) works normally
-
All edits appear correctly in the preview
What I’ve Tried
-
Generated new code through V0 prompts - V0 creates the code and updates the preview, but the Publish button remains disabled
-
Manually edited files in the VSCode tab - Changes save and preview updates, but still can’t publish
-
Attempted to create a new branch - Can create a new one but no success
-
Tried to reconnect the Vercel project - The “Unlink” option is grayed out
-
Looked for the “Duplicate” option - Cannot find this option in the settings menu
-
Attempted to submit a support ticket - Was redirected to the community forum due to my plan type (PREMIUM)
Important Notes
-
I haven’t done anything locally outside of V0
-
I don’t have any external editors
-
I haven’t directly changed anything in GitHub
-
Everything has been done exclusively within the V0 interface from the start
-
I’m on the V0 Premium Personal plan
What I Need
I need help understanding:
-
Why did this suddenly break after 2 weeks of normal operation?
-
Is this a known bug affecting other users?
-
Is there a workaround I haven’t tried yet?
-
Should I recreate the entire project (and if so, can I reassign custom domains)?
This is blocking my work as I cannot deploy any changes to production. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
