v0 publish button disabled and changes not detected by Vercel

I’m experiencing a critical issue with V0 where I cannot publish my changes to Vercel. The “Publish” button remains disabled even though everything else appears to be working correctly.

Background

I’ve been working with V0 successfully for approximately 2 weeks, working almost daily with no issues at all. This problem started suddenly around Thursday or Friday of last week.

Current Symptoms

  1. The “Publish” button is permanently grayed out/disabled

  2. Vercel doesn’t detect any changes in my project

  3. Changes are not appearing in my GitHub repository

  4. The “Unlink Vercel project” option is also grayed out with the message: “To disconnect from this project, duplicate into a new project instead”

What IS Working

  1. Changes save correctly (both with Cmd+S and File→Save)

  2. The preview updates and reflects all changes properly

  3. V0 generates new code successfully when I request it

  4. The built-in Code editor (VSCode tab) works normally

  5. All edits appear correctly in the preview

What I’ve Tried

  1. Generated new code through V0 prompts - V0 creates the code and updates the preview, but the Publish button remains disabled

  2. Manually edited files in the VSCode tab - Changes save and preview updates, but still can’t publish

  3. Attempted to create a new branch - Can create a new one but no success

  4. Tried to reconnect the Vercel project - The “Unlink” option is grayed out

  5. Looked for the “Duplicate” option - Cannot find this option in the settings menu

  6. Attempted to submit a support ticket - Was redirected to the community forum due to my plan type (PREMIUM)

Important Notes

  • I haven’t done anything locally outside of V0

  • I don’t have any external editors

  • I haven’t directly changed anything in GitHub

  • Everything has been done exclusively within the V0 interface from the start

  • I’m on the V0 Premium Personal plan

What I Need

I need help understanding:

  1. Why did this suddenly break after 2 weeks of normal operation?

  2. Is this a known bug affecting other users?

  3. Is there a workaround I haven’t tried yet?

  4. Should I recreate the entire project (and if so, can I reassign custom domains)?

This is blocking my work as I cannot deploy any changes to production. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey pda-4157! Great to see you here. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Can you share a bit more about your issue with the V0 publish button being disabled? Specifically, it would help to know what changes you made, any error messages you might be seeing, and the current status of your deployment. Thanks!

What else do you need? I explained everything in the ticket

FYI Today the Publish button magically began working again.
