I upload my 4k lines of code, and at around 900, it says “continue?” and ofcourse I click continue, but it used to write 10k lines without stopping once, and the worst thing, when I click continue, it doesn’t really continue, is restarts, waisting my credits.
Yeah that would be a frustrating issue. Firstly I’d recommend you use the v0 app when you can because it’s much quicker with the coding, so sign up to the waitlist if you haven’t already.
Secondly, maybe a workaround would be to split the code up into eighths (1/8) so that the AI just codes 400 per prompt and you can just tell it to not worry if it looks incomplete because you’re sending the project’s code in several consecutive prompts.

yeah, splitting the code into different prompts might help but then in that case, my v0 says that i get 5 chats a day AND 5 dollars worth of credits a month

It’ll be tough to build something you want exactly without buying the premium version. The free version is structured like that so you can test how the prompts and other features work but I doubt you could build anything game changing without more credits.
I know v0 has been great. It depends on your aspirations but it’s a good investment when you compare the cost per month to other things you may spend money on like takeaway food etc.
And if you don’t have any cashflow at all then it’s a good idea to get a job because it’ll enable you to pay for cheap things that give you a big ROI like healthy food and v0.
