Vercel API does NOT automatically setup domains

Hello, we’ve found an issue using the Vercel API to domains to our project. Specifically, after adding the required TXT record for domain verification, the domain status does not update automatically. It only reflects the verification once we manually open the Domains page in the Vercel dashboard—until then, it remains in a “pending” state

The same problem with SSL certificate generation: after adding the CNAME record, the certificate generation doesn’t start until we log into the dashboard

You can use the verify project domain endpoint to run the verification check without logging into the dashboard. Hope that helps!
