I’m trying to set up a new vercel project from a github repo.
I connected Vercel to Github account. This github account isn’t the owner of this repo but it has read ad write access to this repo.
When I paste the link to clone the Git repo, Vercel creates a new Github repo instead of use the repo that I provided. Why?
Note: I have Vercel free plan
It’s a private repo but it’s not in a github organization. I shared the project with the Github owner account to the other account connected to Vercel.
I tried to create a Test project with the github account connected to Vercel and it appears in the list as you can see on the photo below, but the other project is not shown.
It seems that if the github account is not the owner of the github project, but anyway it has full access, Vercel can’t import correctly project.
Am I Wrong?

I have exactly the same issue with repositories that I don’t own, but I have “write” access to. Any solutions?
