Vercel domain verification still showing linked to another account despite TXT verification

Hello,

I am requesting assistance with a domain verification issue involving:

iruvilcda.lg.gov.ng

The domain has been added to our Vercel project, but still the dashboard is showing:

“This domain is linked to another Vercel account. To use it with this project, add a TXT record at _vercel.lg.gov.ng to verify ownership.”

I have completed and verified the DNS configuration on my side and would appreciate your assistance in reviewing the ownership state associated with this domain.

Here are the relevant details I think you guys will need:

Domain:
iruvilcda.lg.gov.ng

TXT verification value configured:
vc-domain-verify=iruvilcda.lg.gov.ng,77f7e9553a50aba0855c

Current DNS status:

  • TXT verification record is publicly resolving at _vercel.iruvilcda.lg.gov.ng
  • DNS propagation has completed
  • Verification record has been confirmed via multiple resolvers including local DNS, Google DNS (8.8.8.8), and Cloudflare DNS (1.1.1.1)
  • Verification has remained unresolved in the Vercel dashboard for several days despite successful public resolution

I have also observed that the dashboard message specifically references _vercel.lg.gov.ng, while our delegated DNS zone is iruvilcda.lg.gov.ng. I would appreciate clarification on whether this domain is currently associated with another Vercel account or whether there are any verification requirements specific to .lg.gov.ng delegated namespaces.

Kindly help confirm:

  1. Whether iruvilcda.lg.gov.ng is still linked to another Vercel account or project
  2. Whether any ownership lock or previous association needs to be released
  3. Whether additional steps are required for verification in this namespace
