Vercel Hobby plan deployment blocked by Claude Code AI co-author attribution

Problem

My project deployment is currently blocked because Vercel detected a second collaborator on a Hobby plan.

Current Behavior

The commit included a co-author attribution from Claude Code (noreply@anthropic.com), which is an AI coding assistant, not a real human collaborator. Because of this, the system incorrectly flagged the project as having multiple contributors and blocked deployments.

I have already removed the commit containing the co-author attribution, but the deployment restriction still persists.

Request

Could someone from the Vercel team please verify that noreply@anthropic.com belongs to Claude Code (Anthropic AI) and reset the collaboration flag on my project?

This was not blocked on claude, there was another github user whos name starts with c and username ends in 4 digits who committed and that’s what is blocking the deployment

I’m not allowed to share the specific username (since it’s not linked to your account), but you might be able to dig through the commit history and see if anything matches, hopefully that gives an idea

Still happening, claude pushed a commit up for me and it breaking things now. 04/7/2026
