Vercel Support directed this Vercel MCP issue to the Community because the product is in Beta. Our Codex/ChatGPT Vercel connection can read our project, create a deployment, read its READY status and list project aliases. However, web_fetch_vercel_url fails before fetching the application: stage read_protection_bypass, HTTP 403 forbidden, endpoint pattern /v2/deployments/{deploymentId}/aliases. We already selected the project in the connection settings, but have not verified the effective grant. This is a Pro team. We have not established which permission is missing, and have not repeatedly retried the unchanged request. What exact authorization does this operation require, and how can staff inspect the effective connector grant? We want to keep Deployment Protection enabled. We can provide deployment/project IDs and the original diagnostic privately to verified Vercel staff.
