Hi all,
I'm building a connectable-account integration that reads Web Analytics (and Speed Insights) for the projects a team installs it on. Install and the code exchange work fine, but integration tokens can't read any Web Analytics data.
What I tested (2026-10-05, 10-07 and again 10-21):
POST /v2/oauth/access_token→ 200GET /v10/projects→ 200 (projects showwebAnalytics.hasData: true)GET /v1/query/web-analytics/visits/countand/visits/aggregate(by day, by referrer) → 404"Web Analytics not found."on every project
The same queries with a personal/team access token return 200. Vercel support confirmed it: integration tokens have no Web Analytics or Speed Insights scope, and the Integrations Console doesn't offer one. Only Projects, Deployments, Env Vars, Drains and so on.
The request: a read-only Web Analytics scope (and ideally Speed Insights) that integrations can ask for. That covers visits/*, events/* and the metrics query vercel metrics uses.
Why it matters: right now the only way for a third-party tool to read a team's Web Analytics is to have users paste a personal access token. That's worse for everyone's security than a scoped, revocable integration token. Agencies and multi-site teams want cross-project dashboards, client reporting and alerts on top of Vercel Analytics, and a proper scope would make that a one-click install from the Marketplace.
For context, my tool is Lookout, a cross-project dashboard for Vercel Web Analytics. I've emailed Vercel's integrations team and applied to the Marketplace program; support suggested raising it here too.
If you're building something on Vercel Analytics data and hit the same wall, please add your use case. And if anyone at Vercel can share whether a scope like this is planned, or if there's a beta, I'd be glad to test it.
Thanks!
