Hello,
I have a website, cloudandcrunch.com, hosted on Vercel (Hobby plan).
I am located near Porto, Portugal, and the website works normally for me. However, a friend located in McKinney, Texas has intermittently been unable to access the website. This has happened more than once, and today she reported the problem again. Another person in the same location was also unable to access the site at the same time.
Vercel Support previously asked me to run the vercel-connect-debug diagnostic script. I ran it from my Mac in Portugal, and the test completed successfully. I have the complete vercel-debug.txt diagnostic output available and can provide it privately if needed.
The diagnostic showed:
DNS resolution is working correctly. cloudandcrunch.com resolves to 216.198.79.1. Google DNS (8.8.8.8) returns the same IP address. HTTPS connections to all Vercel IP addresses tested successfully. All tested Vercel IPs had 0% packet loss. The site returned a normal HTTP 308 redirect to https://www.cloudandcrunch.com/.
The SSL certificate is valid for cloudandcrunch.com.
Because everything works from Portugal but the website is intermittently inaccessible to multiple people in McKinney, Texas, I am wondering if this could be related to Vercel edge connectivity, ISP routing, DNS, or a particular network/IP range in that area.
Could someone from Vercel please review the attached diagnostic and advise me on what I should check next, or whether there is anything on the Vercel side that could explain this location-specific connectivity issue?
Thank you!
