Weird spike of Edge requests

What happened
Usage → Edge Requests shows **≈ 1 390 070 requests on 14–15 May 2025.
Fewer than 10 real users know the site. No marketing traffic expected.
The spike paused the project because it exceeds the 1 M Hobby quota.

What I checked

  1. Analytics tabs “Projects” → only this project.
    “Regions” → traffic came almost 100 % from fra1 (Frankfurt) and lhr1 (London).
  2. Cannot inspect “Paths” / “Referrers” because it requires Pro.
  3. CI – GitHub Actions ran only 4 Cypress tests, and the flow is not finished (~400 requests total).
  4. No external embeds (checked referrer logs in the app).

Two vertical bars appear for 14-15 May, nothing before or after.
No Serverless / Edge Function invocation spike at the same time.

Questions:
Could you confirm whether these 1.4 M requests are legitimate CDN hits?
If they were counted in error, can my quota be reset?
