What is a `err_ssl_protocol_error`?

I am experiencing an SSL certificate issue with my website (www.fktekstil.com) hosted on Vercel. The error message states that the SSL certificate expired 4 days ago, resulting in a “Your connection is not private” error. I have cleared cookies, cache, and browsing data, flushed the local DNS cache, and checked my DNS settings on Namecheap, but the issue persists across different devices and networks. I need assistance confirming if my SSL certificate is properly renewed, whether I need to manually renew it, if there could be a DNS misconfiguration, and if there’s a way to force SSL renewal from my end.

The domain troubleshooting guide can help with most custom domain configuration issues. You might be able to use that guide to solve it before a human is available to help you. Then you can come back here and share the answer for bonus points.

You can also use v0 to narrow down the possibilities.

Hello,

You need to add www.fktekstil.com domain in your project so we can issue SSL certificate and serve the traffic: Login – Vercel. It currently has only fktekstil.com.

Hello,

Thank you for your response and guidance.
I’ve made the necessary update and added the www.fktekstil.com domain to the project as instructed.

Additionally, I’d like to ask whether upgrading to a paid plan is necessary at this point. If so, could you please inform me about the advantages of switching to a paid plan?

Looking forward to your feedback.

Best regards,
Furkan Aşkın

If your product is using for Commercial purpose, you definitely should upgrade to Pro plan: Fair use Guidelines. Commercial usage is prohibted on Hobby. Apart for that, Pro also allow collaboration, more traffic, and additional resources depending on the traffic you will be getting.
