Why is something labeled as “FREE”

While generating my application, an error occurs and a popup appears stating that the issue can be resolved using v0 FREE, implying that no credits should be charged. However, even when following this option, an extremely high amount of credits is deducted from my wallet. This happens repeatedly, forcing me to constantly recharge and spend money.

If the popup explicitly says the issue can be resolved with v0 FREE, then no credits should be deducted from my wallet. A “FREE” option should not consume paid credits under any circumstances.

Start generating the application normally.
An error occurs during the generation process.
A popup appears saying the issue can be resolved with v0 FREE.
Proceed as instructed using the FREE option.
Credits are still deducted from my wallet — often in very large amounts.
This behavior is consistent and reproducible.

any screenshots / videos you can provide when this is happening? Odd that it is tbh.

There are “fix for free with v0” and then there are also “fix with v0” options it provides depending what the case is. Are you positive the ones you are being charged for have all be the fix for free ones?

I cant say I have run into this issue myself, but I have seen it around the threads here. Usually there is more to it and it can be easy to misunderstand.
