Hey all,
Agent Mode has only been around three-ish weeks, but it already feels like credit drain mode. We keep running into output generation errors that chew through monthly credits, and once the agent gets stuck the only “fix” is starting over — and burning even more credits.
On top of that, it’s gotten pretty ornery and lazy. It often claims tasks are “fixed” or “completed” when nothing actually happened. We’ve been sending in-chat feedback regularly, but there’s been no acknowledgment and no fixes. Meanwhile, credits just vanish and we’re stuck paying to rerun tasks that used to work fine on earlier models. Running out of credits every few days just to get basic work done isn’t sustainable.
I want to keep building here. But unless there’s a way to get credits back for failed runs (or stability improvements on the roadmap), it feels pretty one-sided.
For those of you sticking it out:
-
How are you adapting?
-
Any tricks for getting the agent unstuck?
-
Are you just eating the credit costs, or have you found workarounds that actually help?
Or is go touch grass and wait it out the only reliable workaround right now?
Would really appreciate hearing how others are navigating this.
