Hello
I get an error:
“Your message or the text content of your attachment(s) exceeds the maximum length. Please delete your message and try again.”
But I don’t add any text content or attachments attachment(s) to the message. This is the reply for any message in my chat. It happened suddenly in one chat, I have created new chat where I have uploaded the same project and this problem has repeated.
Did you know about these other v0 resources? A human should be here soon to help, but the answer may already be available even faster in one of these other posts.
This guide is a great place to start.

Does this error happen when attempting to upload your project? Or is it in a normal chat reply after uploading the project?
Hello!
First of all thank you very much for creating such an exciting product as v0. It is the best thing I have seen I have ever used in the internet. It is really helpful and makes a process of running startup really quick.
I have experienced this error when I have forked from the chat for a lot of times. There was an opportunity to continue the chat, but in the fork I’ve got this error.
After this I have started a new chat, imported files from the previous one (just downloaded them to my computer and then uploaded to the chat) and got this error again.
Now I have repeated these actions one more time in another chat and I don’t get this error.
Hey!
This problem is being reproduced again. This really block me since I can’t start a new fork, but able to continue a new chat.
Please help me
Thank you!
It’s possible that something got into a weird state if there have been multiple forks. I’ve also seen this error happen when working with a large number of files.
I reached out in a private message to get the chat link from you. Digging into the logs for that specific chat will tell us more about what’s going wrong
Someone on the v0 team helped me find the logs and confirmed that the error is happening because the ZIP file uploaded to start the chat caused the chat context to be too large.
If you can simplify the upload to focus on a smaller piece of your larger project, that would let you keep working on it without running into this error. I hope that helps!
Hey, it doesn’t look that problem is in amount of files because I can continue the current chat, I just can’t fork.
The original chat is already near the limit, so the fork errors out because the added context becomes too much. Breaking the project into smaller chats or finding another way to reduce the size will make the error go away
