When there is huge(not huge actually, there are 20 files apr.) code in the chat, the chat freezes as you can see in the video. I have 32GB ram, i9 12900k processor. It's very strange that I experience this because the tab doesn't even use 1gb ram.

Yes, this speeds it up, but will continuing with the fork cause it to ignore my previous chat requests and past edits on code?
No, it doesn't ignore previous chat context.
