Completed Next.js Foundations 100% - certificate was never issued (certificate: null)

Hi Vercel Academy team,

I completed the Next.js Foundations course. The course page shows “30 of 30 lessons completed (100%)”, and my progress record embedded in the page confirms it:

  • “percentCompleted”: 100
  • “completedAt”: “2026-06-26T15:34:24.260Z”
  • “requiresCertification”: true
  • “certificate”: null
  • “vercelUserId”: “gQHCiDcICdFXAYvaNivApMJc”

However, no certificate was created. Opening Next.js Foundations | Vercel Academy redirects back to the course homepage.

Two details that may help debugging:

  1. My completedLessons array contains duplicate records - lesson_ef084be0 appears twice and lesson_62f44178 three times — so the 30/30 count includes duplicates. The distinct completed lessons are 27, which matches the 27 resources the course page lists when logged out.

  2. Certificates are demonstrably issued for completing this course - the course author has publicly shared his at /academy/nextjs-foundations/certificate/HULrDDvlErvDOoqFBl3psCbH - so this appears to be an issuance failure on my account rather than a missing feature.

Could you issue the certificate for my account (vercelUserId: gQHCiDcICdFXAYvaNivApMJc)? And if certificates for self-paced learners aren’t enabled yet, could you confirm whether and when they will be?

Thanks!
