Failing to connect to my Github Account

Hi,
I am having trouble connecting my V0 account to my GitHub profile. Every time I attempt the integration, the process fails.
I have attached a screenshot of the exact error message I’m receiving.
Could you please help me troubleshoot this or check if there is an issue on the account side?
Thanks!

Hi Mark,

I’d first check whether the failure is with the GitHub authorization itself or with access to a specific repository.

In GitHub, open:

Settings → Applications → Installed GitHub Apps → Vercel

Then check whether the Vercel GitHub App is installed for the right GitHub account/organization and whether it has access to the repo you’re trying to connect. If it is set to “Only select repositories,” make sure that repo is included.

Then in v0, try reconnecting from a clean browser session:

1. Log out of v access to the repo you’re trying to connect. If it is set to “Only select repositories,”0 and GitHub
2. Open an incognito/private window
3. Log in to GitHub first
4. Log in to v0
5. Try Git → Connect again

v0’s GitHub docs mention that repository imports require the Vercel GitHub App to have access to the repository:

If the repo is inside a GitHub organization, also check whether the organization requires approval for GitHub Apps. In that case the connection can fail even though your personal GitHub login is correct.

If it still fails, the useful details to share would be the exact error text from the screenshot, whether the repo is personal or organization-owned, and whether the Vercel GitHub App is nstalled with access to that repo. Don’t post any GitHub tokens or private repo secrets.
